Breakfast with EU Ambassador, Vassilis Bontosoglou

On the occasion of the official visit by Members of the European Parliament to Singapore, Ambassador Vassilis Bontosoglou, Head of the Delegation of the European Commission to Singapore is inviting FCA journalists to attend an on-the-record media breakfast. Eight Members of the European Parliament from the Delegation for Relations with the countries of Southeast Asia and ASEAN, are on an official visit to Singapore from 20 to 22 November to attend the 7th European Parliament/Singapore Interparliamentary Meeting. Formal discussions will be held on a wide range of issues of common concern with regard to current international and regional developments, as well as the EU�s bilateral relationship with Singapore within the Union�s policy towards Southeast Asia. During their visit the European Parliament delegation are scheduled to hold talks with the Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Abdullah Tarmugi, members of GPC on Defence and Foreign Affairs and they will observe parliamentary proceedings during Question Time. The EP delegates are also scheduled to call on Senior Minister Goh Chock Tong, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. George Yeo, Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Mr. Chan Soo Sen and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Raymond Lim.
