INSEAD�s Business Journalist Seminar (BJS), now in its third year, will be running at the school�s Asia Campus in Singapore from 16-18 October 2007. The seminar will cover the following areas: * Financial and management accounting * Mergers and acquisitions * Corporate governance * Global and regional economic trends The guest speaker for this year�s Asia seminar will be Mr Leonard Apcar, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Editor, Asia of the International Herald Tribune. How to apply: The programme is limited to a maximum of 30 participants, so please apply early and before 4 October. A limited number of scholarships are available, details of which can be supplied on request. Accommodation and travel expenses are not included. INSEAD has negotiated preferential rates with the Novotel Clarke Quay for participants who wish to stay at this hotel. Business journalism is growing in importance year by year and now, more than ever, financial reporters and editors need to have a firm grasp of business issues so they can keep their readers and viewers informed of the latest developments in the business world.
