Special Olympics CEO Tim Shriver to talk to the FCA about history in the making

Olympic History in the making: China will become the first country to host the Special Olympics World Games, 2008 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, all within the span of 12 months! The Special Olympics will start first on 2-11 October 2007 in Shanghai. Special Olympics CEO, Tim Shriver, on his first stop in Asia, will address the Foreign Correspondents Assoc. of Singapore on why the games are truly special, who'll participate and how it's the FIRST TIME in Special Olympics history, that the games are being held in Asia. In addition to almost 7,500 athletes (including some 1000 from Singapore!), Special Olympics expect the 2007 World Summer Games to draw 40,000 volunteers, 3,500 event officials and thousands of families, volunteers, spectators and journalists from every continent.
