"Scene By Scene - Films of Asia Pacific" is an hour long documentary celebrating the very best of film from across the Asia Pacific region. It airs on CNN International prior to the Asia Pacific Screen Awards ceremony to be held at Australia's Gold Coast on November 13. Filmed in India, Bhutan, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Egypt, Singapore, Japan, Korea and Turkey, the program features Asia Pacific film luminaries such as John Woo, Omar Sharif, Chen Kaige, Garin Nugroho and Shabana Azmi. The Asia Pacific Screen Awards is an international cultural initiative that engages CNN International, UNESCO and FIAPF, the International Federation of Film Producer Associations, and the Queensland Events Corporation in a unique partnership to acclaim the cinematic excellence and cultural diversity of the vast Asia-Pacific region.
