Sidney Jones, a Jakarta-based expert on Islamist militants at the International Crisis Group will discuss the recent terrorist developments in indonesia and the possible resurgence of the JI.

Ms Jones is a senior adviser at the International Crisis Group. She has examined separatist conflicts (Aceh and Papua, Mindanao); communal conflicts (Poso, Moluccas); and ethnic conflict (Kalimantan). Her team has also looked at Islamic radicalism, producing a series of reports on Jemaah Islamiyah and its operations in Indonesia and the Philippines.
