WWF President and former Ecuadorian Environment Minister Yolanda Kakabadse will address the FCA on the expected outcomes for the upcoming Rio+20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 20 - 22 June 2012.
She will present WWF positions and initiatives, and frame the context of the upcoming summit:
- What has happened from Rio 92 to date, accompanied by a political analysis that should include an analysis from Rio+10
- A proposal for the future, based on the importance of ecosystems or natural capital for the quality of life on Earth.
This event is opened to all FCA members but please note that no invited guests are allowed as we want to keep numbers manageable. Priority will be given to members who had previously expressed interest in attending.
While the event is fee, kindly note a $50 no-show penalty will be enforced for members that have registered and not cancelled 24 hours ahead.
