The FCA is organizing a lunch event on Oct 19 with Francois Curiel, Head of Christie's Asia.

Renowned for his auctioneering skills, particularly in his speciality, jewellery, Mr/ Curiel is a Christie's man through and through. He started at the auction house in 1969 and his career has taken him from his birthplace in Paris to London, Madrid, New York, where he set up Christie's office in 1977, Geneva, Paris and finally Hong Kong.

At the small round table meeting for journalists-only, Mr Curiel will discuss the state of the art market and prospects for Christie's upcoming Asian art auction in Hong Kong in November.
