We would like to invite 10 FCA journalists (on a first-come-first-served basis) to a social event with visiting South Korean journalists who will be in Singapore and hope to meet some of our locally based journalists.

The U.S. Embassy in Seoul has organized a study tour for the eight South Korean journalists to Vietnam, the Philippines and Singapore. The trip focuses on U.S.-ASEAN relations and the journalists will speak with host country government officials, think tanks and academia.

Part of the trip’s purpose is also interaction with host country journalists, hence this small and informal social event with the Singapore Press Club and the Foreign Correspondents Association. The eight South Korean journalists will be accompanied by four U.S. Embassy Seoul officials.

The informal networking event will be held at Singapore Press Club Connexion at Shanghai Dolly from 7pm onwards. U.S. Embassy Seoul will cover the first round of drinks and finger foods.

As this event is limited to 10 FCA members, please register your interest by Friday 2 Sep 2016 and we will get back to you on the confirmation of your attendance by early next week.
