With the passing of the National Security Law, Hong Kong is facing the city’s worst political crisis and what many pro-democracy activists call “the end of Hong Kong that the world knew before”.

South China Morning Post’s Deputy Executive Editor Zuraidah Ibrahim and Political Correspondent Jeffie Lam have been extensively covering the Hong Kong Democracy Protests over the past year.
