To all FCA Members:

In view of the COVID-19 situation and the safe-distancing measures which are still required by the authorities, the Foreign Correspondents Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on a virtual platform (ZOOM) on Thursday 27 May 2021 at 7.00pm.

Under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020, a voting member may only vote by appointing the chairperson of the meeting as proxy to vote at the AGM, and therefore will be required to send in their vote in advance by proxy. The proxy form for this will be sent to you in due course, where you can indicate your specific voting choices. This applies for all voting members, both those who will be attending the virtual meeting as well as those who will not be able to attend the virtual meeting.

If you will be attending, please log in at www.fcasingapore.com to register so that we can send you the link (this will be sent 2 days before the meeting). Do note that your registration for the AGM via ZOOM will be deemed consent for a screenshot of your presence at the meeting to be posted on the FCA website.

The following documents will be sent to all members in a separate email in due course:
(a)  Minutes of the previous AGM 2020.
(b)  Statement of Accounts for the year ended 28 Feb 2021.
(c)  Proxy Form for voting
While all members are encouraged to attend, please note that only Ordinary Members have voting rights.
