Debbie Yong, Editorial Director, MICHELIN Guides Asia
Well versed in Asia's luxury hospitality trends, Debbie Yong leads the digital content strategy and production for the MICHELIN Guide's online platforms across the region. She started her journalism career with Singapore's national broadsheet The Straits Times and financial daily The Business Times, and most recently worked for the BBC and Fortune magazine in Hong Kong. Her black book includes the who's who of the hospitality industry in Asia and she has provided media and content consulting services to global luxury brands. She frequently speaks, moderates and judges on restaurant industry panels, and has been featured as a local expert in several Netflix documentaries.
Han LG, Chef-Owner of Restaurant Labyrinth
In 2014, Chef Han founded Labyrinth, encapsulating his roots and memories of growing up in Singapore. Chef Han practices a culinary philosophy built on responsibly understanding produce, ingredients, and taste profiles while championing a locavore cause of supporting the local farmers and community.
Ivan Brehm, Chef-Owner of Nouri Restaurant
Ivan Brehm is the Chef and Owner of Singapore-based restaurant, Nouri. Its cuisine is a product of creative interpretations of research into food as material culture, and the restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star since its inception. Brehm is also the Founder of Appetite, a multidisciplinary concept space opened in 2020. Sitting at the crossroads of gastronomy, the visual arts, and music, Appetite's mandate is to explore intimate appreciations of these creative forms of expressions and promote transdisciplinarity with thorough research, food and wine, and meaningful experiences
